Aim of the Course

The department of Applied Sciences is set up to cater the essential needs of the basic subjects of first year engineering courses and looks after the first year of the engineering courses.

First year Engineering is common to all Branches
First year of all engineering courses starts in the month of July/August every year.

Eligibility criteria for all Engineering courses
HSC Examination (12th Standard) of Higher Secondary State Board in India or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects and entrance test conducted by competent authorities.


Highlights

• Qualified and experienced faculty. Faculty members are involved in Research activities.
• Active participation of the faculty members in various activities such as seminars, Workshops, Conferences, Symposium etc. Also encourages the students to participate in all types of career oriented co curricular & extra curricular activities.
• The Guest lectures are also arranged by department to enhance the academic standards and to cope with recent developments.
• Research papers are published and few faculty members are pursuing the research work.
• Blood donation camps, especially for first year students are organised.
• The Class tests, home assignments are the regular activities in the department.
