The Department of Production Engineering has started in 1983 which offers undergraduate course admitting 60 students, and has approval by AICTE upto 2009. However commencing from this year, i.e 2008-09, the intake capacity (seats) has been reduced to 0 (zero).
The department has a total of 14 well qualified staff members.
We have 10 well-equipped laboratories which adequately fulfill the requirements of undergraduate and postgraduate course. A total of 25 research papers has been prepared in last three years.

Bachelor of Engineering in Production Engineering or B.E (Production Engineering)
| Aim of the Course |
Aim of this course is to prepare student for expertise in production techniques and production methodologies. As students gain further expertise and experience, they can work as managers of the industries.
Course covers production techniques, technologies and computer methodologies as applied to production.
