Admission Process
Course: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)

Eligibility conditions and requirements for admissions

1. Maharashtra State Candidate.

i. The Candidate should be an Indian National and having domicile of Maharashtra state and/or born in Maharashtra state.

ii. Passed HSC or its equivalent examination from Maharashtra state with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and the candidate should have appeared in MHT-CET 2020 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2020.

OR


ii. Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).


2. All India Candidates –

i. The Candidate should be an Indian National.

ii.Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in MHT-CET 2020 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2020. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2020.
OR
ii. Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only).


3. NRI* Candidate –

The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks in the above subjects taken together.

List of Documents required for Admission 2020-21 at JNEC


For First Year Engineering Admission :

I) 3 Passport Size Photos.

II) Original documents as per list below along with 3 Xerox copies of each document.

1. MHT-CET score card/JEE mains score card.

2. Domicile Certificate / Indian Nationality.

3. H.S.C Mark Sheet.

4. S.S.C. Mark Sheet.

5. Transfer Certificate (T.C.)

6. Migration Certificate (Students passing XII class from outside Aurangabad board region have to submit Migration certificate).

7. Gap Certificate on Rs. 100/- Bond paper for students passing 12th standard examination before June 2020, clearly stating the reason for gap.

Additional Documents required for Reserved Category Students.

8. Caste Certificate.

9. Caste Validity Certificate.

10. non creamy layer certificate (VALID UPTO 31st MARCH 2021 , For OBC, SBC, VJ, NT-1, NT-2, NT-3 students.)

11. Physically Handicapped Certificate (If physically handicapped).


Fees for Academic Year 2020-21


The Adhoc/Interim fee structure shall be as approved by the Fee Fixation Committee established under the MGM Act. The final fee approved and published by the Fee Fixation Committee (section 36) for that year shall be the fee payable by the candidate for that program for that academic year.

Tuition fee for Academic Year 2020-21 for UG and PG programs is as follows:

The fee is to be paid by DD drawn in favor of MGM University payable at Aurangabad from Nationalized Bank only or by digital payment mode.

Admission Process

(ii) TThe candidate should have passed 10+2 scheme of examination with aggregate 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.

OR

(ii) 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in aggregate.

(iii). In addition to the above, the candidate needs to qualify an Aptitude Test in Architecture conducted by the Council (NATA) or by the competent authority of the Central Government (JEE Main Paper II) and obtained non zero positive score.


2. All India Candidate and NRI* Candidate

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.

(ii) The candidate should have passed 10+2 scheme of examination with aggregate 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.

OR

(ii) 10+3 Diploma Examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in aggregate.
