Admission Process
Course: Master of Technology (M.Tech.)

Eligibility conditions and requirements for admissions

1. For Maharashtra Candidate–

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National having domicile in Maharashtra state.

(ii) Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

(iii) Obtained Non-Zero Positive Score in Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by Indian Institute of Technology.

(iv) In case of unavailability of GATE candidates, the vacant seat will be offered to the non-GATE candidates, as per merit, based on the marks secured in MGMUCET.

(v) For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm /company /industry /educational and/ or research institute/any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

Note: -

1. Candidates who have appeared in GATE before 2020 and having score which is valid for AY 2019-20 (as mentioned on the scorecard) are eligible for admission.

2. Candidates who have appeared GATE in 2020 with non-zero score shall be considered on the basis of Marks obtained.

3. Preference shall be given to the Valid Score candidates over not valid score.


2. All India Candidate

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.

(ii) Passed Bachelor Degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

3. NRI* Candidate

Fees for Academic Year 2020-21


The Adhoc/Interim fee structure shall be as approved by the Fee Fixation Committee established under the MGM Act. The final fee approved and published by the Fee Fixation Committee (section 36) for that year shall be the fee payable by the candidate for that program for that academic year.

Tuition fee for Academic Year 2020-21 for UG and PG programs is as follows:

The fee is to be paid by DD drawn in favor of MGM University payable at Aurangabad from Nationalized Bank only or by digital payment mode.

Note: Tuition Fee for NRI candidates is USD 2000 or INR 150000/- whichever is more.

Admission Process
Course: Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Eligibility conditions and requirements for admissions

1. For Maharashtra Candidate –

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National and having domicile of Maharashtra state and/or born in Maharashtra state.

(ii) Passed BCA / B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects (at 10+2 level or at Graduation level examination) and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

(iii) Obtained non zero positive score in MH -MCA-CET 2020 or AIMCET or MGMU-CET.


2. For All India Candidate

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National.

(ii) Passed BCA / B.Sc./ B.Com./ B.A. with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects (at 10+2 level or at Graduation level examination) and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only).

(iii) Obtained non zero positive score in MH-MCA-CET 2020 or AIMCET or MGMU-CET or any other equivalent CET.

3. NRI* Candidate

(i) Passed BCA/B.Sc./B.Com/ B.A. with Mathematics as one of the subjects (at 10+2 level or at Graduation Level examination) and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission Process
Course: Master of Architecture (M.Arch.)

Eligibility conditions and requirements for admissions

1. For Maharashtra Candidate–

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National having domicile in Maharashtra state.

(ii) The candidate with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in a Bachelor of Architecture degree course or equivalent courses recognized by the Council of Architecture shall be admitted to the post graduate course in architecture.

(iii) Obtained Non-Zero Positive Score in Graduates Aptitude Test in GATE for Architecture conducted by Indian Institute of Technology; or MHCET conducted by state government of Maharashtra or MGMU-CET.

(iv) For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm /company /industry /educational and/ or research institute/any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

Note: -
